Bureaucracies are a triumph of reason

Bureaucracies are the result of applying, too seriously, the reason to organize human activities.

Bureauoracies are a mechanistic approach to human colaboration, and, thus, ignore that persons want to do things, in addition to any punishment or reward.

As a consequence, bureaucracies consume more resources to achieve the same output than other forms of organization.
